The round table included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a news european commission Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers offered different experiences and viewpoints on how education can reduce prejudice.
In the discussion, participants considered themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when rooted in respect for human rights.
